Happy Halloween & National Pitbull Awareness Month

Until they ALL have a home…

That’s our motto, and we stand by that, especially for those dogs who need it most.  For National Pitbull Awareness Month, we thought it was fitting to feature our most adorable pocket pittie and our longest TLC resident.  In fact, she’s our ONLY adoptable dog in the TLC 2021 calendar.  

Toni is a snuggly, affectionate pocket pittie who's had a rough start to her life.  She was found by a police officer and a kind soul in Philadelphia hiding under his police car, incredibly skinny & very sick.  She was brought to a shelter but was not going to survive there, so the kind soul who found her took her in and nursed her back to health. She went from skin and bones and scared for her life, to a lovable, goofy, happy pup in a few months.  She’s sassy (hence the Bee costume) and will require an owner who understands her needs, but boy, is she worth it.  Her current foster family can’t get enough of her snuggles, kisses and silly personality!  

From the streets of Philadelphia as skin and bones fighting for her life, to a loving affectionate foster home, Toni deserves the best life has to offer.
